Team detail
One team's page: rename it, manage its members and roles, transfer ownership, add sub-teams, and edit its Memory.
Open a team from Team settings (click its name, or ⋯ → Manage members). Route is /settings/teams/<teamUuid>. A breadcrumb at the top shows the team's path (for example 'Teams / Product / Design'). Org admins can rename the team by clicking its name and pressing Enter. An address for a team that does not exist shows 'Team Not Found' with Back to Teams.
What's on the page #
- Members: the team's members and their team roles, with Search members. Org admins see Add member, which adds someone from your organization (pending invitees included) as a Member (the default) or Admin. Known issue: the role list also offers Observer, but adding someone as Observer fails with 'Failed to add team member'. Choose Member instead. A row's ⋯ → Delete member takes them off the team after you confirm.
- Hierarchy: the team's sub-teams as cards, each with who created it. New Subteam opens the 'Add new team' dialog with this team already set as the parent.
- Memory: a short, free-text profile of the team that Brev draws on to generate more relevant goals, KPIs, and suggestions.
Roles & ownership #
- Each member's team role pill reads Team Member or Team Admin (switch between the two from it), separate from their org-level role; the owner shows as Team Owner. The team owner always appears in the member list, even if they aren't a member of the team, and that row cannot be deleted.
- Transferring ownership: only the current Team Owner can do this. Open another member's role selector, choose Team Owner, and confirm with Transfer ownership. The change can't be undone (only the new owner can transfer it back). The dialog says the previous owner becomes a Team Admin. Team Admins cannot transfer ownership.
- Known issue: after a transfer the previous owner currently shows as Team Member, not Team Admin. Change their role back if they should keep admin rights.
Memory #
The Memory tab holds three short text fields about the team: Strategic focus, How it supports company goals, and Out of scope. Brev draws on them to generate more relevant goals, KPIs, and suggestions. Each takes up to 2,000 characters, with a count under the box, and saves when you click away from it; past the limit the count turns red and the field does not save until you shorten it. Org admins can edit them; everyone else sees them read-only.
