CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce)
Connect your CRM so revenue goals can pull live pipeline data and the AI can spot what's moving (and what's stuck).
Connect HubSpot or Salesforce to tie revenue goals (ARR, pipeline, deal count) directly to the source of truth. Once connected, you can point a goal at a specific CRM report or filter, and the value updates automatically.
Supported CRMs #
- HubSpot: connects via OAuth. Brev reads deals, contacts, companies, owners, pipelines, and report data.
- Salesforce: connects via OAuth (production or sandbox). Brev reads opportunities, accounts, users, and custom report data.
How to connect #
- Open Integrations and click Connect on the CRM cardHubspot and Salesforce each have their own card in the Data section of the Integrations page.
- Authorize in the CRM's windowYou'll be redirected to HubSpot or Salesforce to sign in. Brev requests read scopes on the relevant objects, deals/opportunities, contacts/accounts, owners, and reports. No write access by default. When you come back, the card is in the Connected section.
- Connect a goal to a reportThere's nothing more to set up on the Integrations page. On a goal, connect it to the CRM and pick the report or value to anchor it on (e.g. 'Q2 2026 New ARR pipeline', 'Closed Won this quarter'). You can change it later from the goal's integration connection.
- Brev pulls a baselineFirst sync grabs the current values for the reports you picked. Goal values populate within a few minutes.
Where the data appears #
- Goal values: any goal you've connected to a CRM report shows live values pulled from HubSpot/Salesforce, refreshed automatically. The value appears in the goal's trajectory chart with a small CRM icon next to each data point.
- Suggested check-ins: when CRM data changes meaningfully (deals close, pipeline moves), Brev pre-drafts a check-in for the goal owner mentioning the change. Accept to apply, edit to tweak.
- AI Goal Insights: the commentary on each goal's Insights tab pulls patterns from your CRM ('Big-deal momentum slowed in EMEA', 'Two top accounts haven't moved in 21 days') alongside Slack and meeting context.
- Recaps + Operator answers: Operator answers questions about pipeline, and meeting recaps cite CRM data alongside other context.
How often it refreshes #
- HubSpot fires change events into Brev as records are updated. Most pipeline changes appear within a minute.
- Salesforce refreshes every 30 minutes from 11:00 to 23:59 UTC and every 4 hours overnight; click the refresh icon on the goal's connection if you need a result right now.
- On every goal check-in, Brev refreshes the connected CRM report value so the displayed number reflects current reality.
Common issues #
- Goal value is stuck on an old number
- Click the refresh icon on the goal's connection. If it still doesn't update, check that the CRM report still exists and that the values it returns haven't been filtered out by a date range change.
- "Your Salesforce org has used up its API requests"
- Salesforce caps how many API calls your whole org can make in a rolling 24 hour period, counting every tool that talks to it, not just Brev. Once the cap is reached Salesforce refuses further calls and connected goals stop updating until the allowance refills, which it does by itself. A Salesforce admin can see the current count under Setup, Company Information, API Requests Last 24 Hours. If you hit it regularly, that page also shows which integrations are consuming it.
- My CRM admin restricted access
- Brev only sees what your CRM permissions let you see. If a profile or sharing rule blocks you from a report in Salesforce, Brev gets the same empty result. Ask your CRM admin to grant access to your user, not to Brev. Brev acts on behalf of the connecting user.
