Start a new Brev workspace, or join one you've been invited to. No credit card needed, and a new workspace starts with $100 of free credits.

Open in app
core

The page heading reads Create your account, with "Start your free trial. No credit card needed." underneath. Every new workspace gets $100 of free credits to start. From this same page you can spin up a brand-new workspace or join one you've been invited to.

Opened the sign-up link from inside another app?
Links opened from inside apps like LinkedIn, Gmail, Slack, or Instagram run in that app's built-in browser, where Google blocks sign-in. Brev detects this and swaps the "Sign up with Google" and "Sign up with Microsoft" buttons for a note steering you to email sign-up (which always works). On Android you also get an "Open in browser" button that reopens Brev in your default browser; on iPhone, Brev shows your app's "Open in Safari" steps. "Copy link" copies the page address as a backup.

Ways to create your account #

Emailed code
Type your work email and click Sign up free. On the next step click Email me a sign-in code, then enter the 6-digit code from your inbox and click Verify code. There's no password to invent or remember. Didn't get it? Send another code emails a fresh one, and Change (or Use a different email) takes you back to fix the address. If the address is at a domain that can't receive email, Brev tells you so; check it for a typo.
Google or Microsoft
One click, no code to type, if your work account is on Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. Use Sign up with Google or Sign up with Microsoft under the "or" divider on the first step. Both are hidden when Brev detects you opened the link inside another app's browser, where the providers block sign-in.
Your company's SSO
If your email domain is set up for single sign-on, the step after Sign up free shows your provider's button above the emailed-code option, separated by "or". Both are offered; if your organization's policy requires SSO, the emailed code is refused at verification and you're pointed back to the SSO button.

Some organizations add a verification step after the code, such as confirming your email or setting up an authenticator app. See Extra verification steps.

Starting a new workspace
Enter your work email and click Sign up free (or sign up with Google or Microsoft). Once your account exists, Brev walks you through a short onboarding. Personal email accounts like Gmail and one-off disposable services are blocked here: "Please use your work email to continue. Personal email addresses are not supported." Use your company email.
Joining from an invitation
An invitation link opens the sign-in page; sign in there with the address you were invited at. If you follow Sign up from there instead, Brev fills in the invited address and locks it, so the account you create is the invited one. You then go through onboarding and land in the workspace that invited you, not a new one. See Accepting an invitation.
Already have an account?
If you're signed in already, the sign-up page sends you to your Organization view (or to the page the link was taking you to) instead. Sign out first if you really want to start over with a different account. If you're signed out, Log in under the buttons takes you to the sign-in page, and signing up with an address that already has an account simply signs you in.
Arrived from a special sign-up link?
Some links Brev hands out carry a code in the address (for example, for a design-partner cohort), which sets your new workspace up with a particular starting configuration. Brev remembers the code for two hours, so it still applies after you sign in with Google or verify your email, and it survives clicking through to the log-in page and back. The code only ever changes how a brand-new workspace is set up; it can never stop you signing up.
