Decide who joins your workspace, and who can invite

Admins can now choose who may send invitations and let colleagues on your company's verified email domain ask to join, so your workspace grows the way you want it to.

Released Oct 27, 2026 · v5.18.19 · Shared by Founding Team

New

  • Choose who can invite members. In Settings, General, pick whether only Owners and Admins can send invitations, or Owners, Admins and Members (the default). Keep membership in the hands of the people responsible for it.
  • Let colleagues ask to join. Turn on join requests for your company's verified email domain, and a colleague who signs up with that domain is offered Request to join instead of starting a separate workspace. Admins approve or decline each request in Settings, Members, Requests, so nobody gets in without a yes.

Improved

  • Select actions on My actions the way you would in a list app: shift-click to grow or shrink a range, select a whole group from its header, or drag across rows.
  • Ask the Operator to "just create it" and it creates the goal directly, instead of only showing a draft card.
  • Org admins can make any member a team's owner, including someone invited who has not signed in yet.
  • The progress slider on My check-ins matches the one on the goal page, and the command palette lists the All goals, At risk and Behind views.
  • Create buttons in page headers are all the same size.
  • AI assistants connected to Brev can find invited members who have not signed in yet, and look people up by email.

Fixed

  • AI assistants connected to Brev could read transcript details of meetings whose recap was set to host only.
  • Very long meetings could be stored with the second half of the cleaned-up transcript missing.
  • With no AI credits left, the create-goal dialog could show an error instead of letting you fill it in by hand.
  • The progress chart's tooltip could be cut off when you hovered near the bottom of the chart in a goal's side panel.
  • Participant names in a meeting's details could appear highlighted for no reason.
  • A goal link pasted into meeting notes could stay a plain URL instead of becoming the goal's chip.
  • Search from a connected AI assistant could fail on every query.
