What you get with Jira Cloud
With Jira Cloud connected, Brev can use Jira as a source of truth for execution work, including:

Keeping project progress/context up to date based on what’s happening in Jira
Improving AI summaries/insights by grounding them in real delivery signals

Connect Jira Cloud
Go to Integrations
Find Jira Cloud and click Connect
Authenticate with Atlassian and approve permissions
Select the correct Jira site/workspace (if prompted)
Connect Jira Cloud to a Metric Directly
Create a Metric, select Auto-track, and select Jira Cloud
Authenticate with Atlassian and approve permissions (if prompted)
In Jira, Brev uses JQL to scope into the specific set of tasks you'd like to track against. Scope by entering your JQL query:
Track Progress by
# of issues completed
% of issues completed
Click Save and complete any other fields in the metric dialogue.
If everything looks correct, click Create metric
Success check: Jira shows as Connected in the metric and the Jira icon is appended to the goal on the right-hand side.
Viewing and refreshing your metric
A Jira icon will appear on the goal showing the connected project. You can hover to see more details, and click to refresh the data.
Note: Brev will sync with Jira Cloud on a regular cadence, but you can always force a refresh.
Connect Jira Cloud to a Project Directly
Create a Project, select Auto-track, and select Jira Cloud
Follow the same steps to connect using your desired JQL query
Within Projects, you can see the issues pulled into the details Task view on the right
You can always refresh your data — issues, progress, and status will reflect the updates whenever there is a change.
