What you get with Google Sheets
With Google Sheets connected, Brev can use your sheet as a source of truth for KPI tracking, including:
Connecting Google Sheets data directly to Brev Metrics (via Auto-track)
Automatically updating metric values as your sheet changes
Keeping KPI progress visible inside your Goals and KPI Dashboard
Reducing manual check-ins for spreadsheet-driven metrics
Connect Google Sheets
Go to Integrations
Find Google Sheets and click Connect
Authenticate with Google and approve permissions
Select the correct Google account/workspace (if prompted)
Connect Google Sheets to a Metric Directly
Create a Metric, select Auto-track, and select Google Sheets
Authenticate with Google and approve permissions (if prompted)
Select the Spreadsheet you want to track using Google native picker:
Choose where the KPI lives:
Select the sheet (tab)
Select the column and row
Verify the preview
Confirm the metric format (e.g., # count, %, $) and click Create metric
Success check: Google Sheets shows as Connected in the metric and appended to the metric creation dialogue.
Viewing and refreshing your metric
After you save:
You’ll be brought back to your goal view where the metric is created
A Google Sheets icon will appear on the metric/goal showing it’s connected
You can hover to see more details, and click to refresh the data
Note: Brev will sync with Google Sheets on a regular cadence, but you can always force a refresh.
