What you get with Asana
With Asana connected, Brev can use Asana as a source of truth for delivery work, including:
Linking Asana projects to Brev Projects and Metrics
Keeping project progress/context up to date based on what’s happening in Asana
Improving AI summaries/insights by grounding them in real execution signals
Full visibility and alignment of execution work in one place
Connect Asana
Go to Integrations
Find Asana and click Connect
Authenticate with Asana and approve permissions
Select the correct Asana workspace (if prompted)
Connect Asana to a Metric Directly
Create a Metric, select 'Auto-track', and select Asana
Authenticate with Asana and approve permissions, and select the project you would like to integrate into:
Scope into the selected Project and determine what you would like to track.
You can choose:
# of Tasks Completed
% of Tasks Completed
Click 'Save' and complete any other fields in the metric dialogue.
Success check: Asana shows as Connected in the metric and appended to the creation dialogue.
Select 'Create metric' - you will be brought to your goal list view where you can see the newly created metric.
An Asana icon will appear on the goal showing the connected project. You can hover to see more details, and click to refresh the data.
Note: Brev will sync with Asana every 60 minutes, but you can always force a refresh.
Connect Asana to a Project Directly
Create a Project, select 'Auto-track', and select Asana
Follow the same steps as above. Within Projects, you can see the tasks pulled into the details view on the right.
You can always refresh your data - tasks, progress, and status will all reflect the updates whenever there is a change.
