Pulse for everyone, and Brev at your fingertips
Pulse brings your whole team's check-ins, comments and new goals into one feed, and new keyboard shortcuts get you anywhere in Brev without reaching for the mouse.
Released Oct 23, 2026 · v5.18.16 · Shared by Founding Team
New
- Pulse, one feed of your team's work. Click Pulse in the sidebar, just under Home, to see check-ins, comments, new goals and new members, newest first, with each conversation kept on one card. Comment and react right in the feed, see a check-in's change on its progress bar, and open any goal in a side panel without leaving the page. Pulse only shows what you could already open yourself.
- Every shortcut in one place. Press ? to search a list of every keyboard shortcut. Press G then a letter to jump to Goals, My actions, Cadences, Artifacts, Notifications, Home or Settings, and C to open the create dialog on the page you are on.
- Do more from Cmd+K. The command palette can now create a goal or an action, add a check-in, ask the Operator and switch your theme, as well as find things.
- Ask about a series of meetings. Open the Operator scoped to a cadence's meetings to ask what was decided or who owns what across them. Links to transcript moments open on that moment.
- Turn a meeting note to-do into a tracked action. One click on a to-do in a meeting's notes creates the action and links it, so follow-ups from the meeting are not lost in the notes. Paste a goal link into a note or a check-in and it becomes the goal's chip.
- Delete your workspace yourself. Owners of a trial workspace, or of one paid by card through Plans, can delete it from Settings, Workspace, General. The workspace locks at once, and the owner can restore it during a 30-day grace period.
Improved
- The sidebar shows a New in Brev card with the latest release, so you hear about new features as they arrive.
- Copy a goal's link or copy it as markdown from its row menu, or copy the link with Cmd+Shift+comma from its side panel.
- The Slack app can join only the channels you pick, as an alternative to joining every public channel.
- Mention notifications open on the passage that mentions you, not just the page it is on.
- You can delete an empty artifact folder.
- The org weekly digest covers company and team goals only, leaving individual goals out.
- Only admins can invite someone as an admin, and role changes, deactivation and removal follow the same rules on the server as on the Members page.
- Goal import shows steady progress on large files, names any goals it could not create, and handles files with many owners.
- A new help article walks Microsoft Teams admins through installing the Brev app themselves.
- Pages share one layout grid, so text stays at a comfortable reading width on wide screens.
Fixed
- A deleted meeting could still appear on its cadence's timeline and open an "Event not found" page.
- The Meeting Host only switch always showed off, so hosts could not turn it off.
- Cropping a company logo could fail the minimum size check for a logo that was large enough.
- Average progress for teams on track could show 100 times too large in the table, comparison and export.
- Creating a goal while offline could spin until you reconnected.
- A workspace invitation could be lost after you cancelled a Google or Microsoft sign-in.
- Org owners opening Settings landed on their profile instead of the workspace settings.
- Going offline could show the "new version available" message.
- The "Goals ready" notification opened nothing.
- Archiving goals through the Operator could fail.
- Team search in Settings missed sub-teams, and Attainment by team ignored "All periods".
- Some calendar syncs could drop meeting attendees.
- Long Granola meetings could fail to sync.
- The text formatting toolbar could draw over dialogs and the sidebar.
