Check-ins

Each member's goals owned and a 4-week sparkline of their check-in cadence: sortable, scannable.

Usage > Check-ins listing each member's goals owned, a four-week activity strip and last check-in date.

Page title: Check-ins. Subtitle: 'View organization members sorted by their latest check-in date.' Useful for spotting who's keeping up and who needs a nudge.

Activity only counts check-ins a member submitted themselves (directly or through the Brev AI agent). Automated updates, integration refreshes and parent-goal rollups, and comments are excluded, so the sparkline reflects personal engagement, not connected data sources.

Columns #

  • Name: every member of your org.
  • Goals Owned: how many active goals are assigned to them.
  • Last 4 Weeks: a four-cell strip of weekly activity, oldest on the left. Filled cells = check-ins the member submitted, empty = none. Hover a cell for its count ("This week: 3 check-ins").
  • Last Check-in: date or 'No check-ins'.

Click Name, Goals Owned or Last Check-in to sort by that column; click again to reverse it. The list starts sorted by Last Check-in, most recent first.

  • Known issue: in that starting order, members with No check-ins are listed first rather than last, and the Last Check-in date can show the following day for admins west of UTC. Click Last Check-in to re-sort.

Interpreting the data #

Don't optimize blindly for high coverage. A team that does one well-written check-in per goal per week is healthier than a team that does five rushed ones. Look at the trend, not the absolute number.

If a single owner has a long 'No check-ins' streak, talk to them before nudging them in the inbox. Sometimes the goals are stale and should be archived, not chased.

Who can see it #

Org admins and owners (see Roles & permissions). Reach it from the Usage row of the app sidebar: Usage opens on this Check-ins tab. Everyone else doesn't see that row, direct links return a not-found page, and the underlying data endpoints reject them. Nobody outside the admin group can read the org's check-in activity roster.

Usage is also a paid module. If your workspace hasn't been turned on for it yet, an admin opening Usage sees the page with its content dimmed behind a card reading See how Brev gets used. Request access opens a short form; sending it notifies the Brev team, and the button then reads Feature requested. Until access is granted the tabs, sorting and filters don't respond.
