What you get with Campfire
With Campfire connected, Brev can use Campfire as a trusted data source for KPI tracking, including:
Connecting Campfire data directly to Brev Metrics (via Auto-track)
Automatically updating metric values as the underlying numbers change
Improving AI summaries/insights by grounding updates in real financial data
Making it easy to track financial KPIs inside your Goals and KPI Dashboard
Connect Campfire
Go to Integrations
Find Campfire and click Connect
Authenticate and approve permissions
Connect Campfire to a Metric Directly
Create a Metric, select Auto-track, and select Campfire
Authenticate using your API key and approve permissions. You will need to collect your Campfire API key from within the Campfire application.

Log in and go to the API Tokens page
Go to the (Settings > API Keys) page in your Campfire instance. .API Tokens
Create an API User
Click the “Create User” button to create a new user.Fill in the name, email, and role for the API user. The role will determine the actions and APIs you’ll be able to access.Options:
admin: All APIsclerk: Ability to view all APIs and post draft entriesview only: Ability to call only GET APIs
Create an API Key
Click the “Create API Key” button on the user. Copy the key and store it somewhere safe. You can only see the key once.
Copy and paste your API Key below.
Select the Income Statement you want Brev to track from Campfire.
Scope by time period, and confirm the value preview looks correct and click Save.
Ensure everything looks correct and select Create metric.
Success check: Campfire shows as Connected in the metric and is appended to the metric creation dialogue.
Viewing and refreshing your metric
After you save:
You’ll be brought back to your goal view where the metric is created
A Campfire icon will appear on the metric/goal showing it’s connected
You can hover to see more details, and click to refresh the data
Note: Brev will sync with Campfire on a regular cadence, but you can always force a refresh.
