Brev Agent is your AI assistant inside Brev. It is designed to help teams move faster by turning context into useful outputs, such as goal drafts, progress summaries, and risk analysis.

You can interact with Brev Agent by typing a message, choosing a suggested prompt, or attaching relevant context.

To open Brev Agent, go to the Chat section from the left-hand sidebar.

When you first open the Agent, you’ll see a few suggested prompts, including:

​Draft goals from a document
Use this when you have a source document, strategy memo, plan, or notes that should be turned into structured goals.

​What goals are at risk?
Use this to have Brev analyze your goals and highlight where progress may be off track or where attention is needed.

​Summarize this week’s progress
Use this to generate a concise update based on recent activity, goal progress, or available context.

At the bottom of the screen, use the message box labeled “Message Brev…”.

Type your question or instruction, then send it using the arrow icon.

For example, you can ask:

Summarize progress on our company goals this week.

Or:

Which goals need leadership attention before the next business review?

Use the Attach button near the message box to upload supporting material.

This is useful when you want Brev Agent to work from a specific document, such as:

After attaching the file, tell Brev what you want it to do with the document.

Draft 3–5 goals from this document. Include measurable outcomes and flag anything that feels unclear.

Click What goals are at risk? or type your own version of the question.

Brev Agent can help surface goals that may need attention based on available progress, context, or updates.

Click Summarize this week’s progress or ask for a specific format.

Be specific about the output you want. Brev Agent works best when you include the audience, format, and level of detail.

Yes. You can ask Brev Agent questions directly in chat. Attachments are helpful when you want the Agent to use a specific source of context.

Yes. Brev Agent is meant to help you get to a strong first draft faster. You should review and refine the output before sharing it broadly or using it as a final source of truth.
