Cadences come from your calendar
You don't build cadences by hand in Brev — they're driven entirely by your connected calendar. Whatever recurring meetings live in your calendar are what show up in the Cadences and Meetings feature.
Connect your calendar (the Meeting Agent) and Brev organizes your recurring events into Cadences and your one-off events into Meetings — automatically, with nothing to set up by hand.
Note: No calendar connected means no cadences. Start by connecting the Meeting Agent in Integrations.
Designating cadence types
Give each cadence a type so Brev — and your team — knows what kind of meeting it is. Open the cadence type selector and choose one:
Leadership Review
Department Review
1:1
MBR
WBR
QBR
Team Review
Stand Up
All Hands
OKR Review
Retrospective
Cross Functional
Planning
None
Types make cadences easier to filter, and help Brev tailor agendas and review prep to the kind of meeting it is.
Filtering and finding cadences
From the top of the Cadences dashboard you can:
Search cadences by name.
Sort by Upcoming.
Filter by Frequency (e.g., Weekly) and Type.
Toggle Show archived to include archived cadences.
Each cadence row shows its type, frequency, and owner — plus a toggle that controls whether the Meeting Agent is dispatched to that cadence.
Accessing your meetings
Open the Meetings panel to see your calendar inside Brev:
Calendar Meeting Settings — choose auto-join and share settings.
Filter by week and by meeting type (e.g., All meetings).
Browse past and upcoming meetings, grouped by day.
Use the per-meeting toggle to control whether the agent joins a specific meeting.
Select any meeting to open its details — summary, action items, chapters, and goal alignment.
