What's new

Released Oct 15, 2026 · v5.18.9 · Shared by Founding Team

Belong to several workspaces, and sign in with Slack

You can now be a member of more than one Brev workspace and switch between them, and sign in with your Slack account. Metric goals get descriptions, and the Operator answers your first message sooner.

New

  • Belong to several workspaces. Anyone can now be an active member of more than one Brev workspace, for example your own company's and a client's, and switch between them from the workspace name in the sidebar or from the account menu. Joining a new workspace no longer takes you out of the one you are in, and meeting capture stays on in one workspace at a time, so your meetings never land in both.
  • Sign in with Slack. Choose Continue with Slack when you sign in, or Sign up with Slack when you create an account, beside Google and Microsoft. If your team lives in Slack, you get into Brev with the account you already use all day.
  • Archive goals in bulk from an AI assistant. AI assistants connected to Brev, and the Brev CLI and API, can archive or restore many goals at once, sub-goals included. Close out last quarter's goals in one request and keep their check-in history, instead of deleting them.

Improved

  • Metric goals (Key Results) have a description you can add, edit and read in the goal dialog, the side panel and the goal page, the same as Goals and Projects.
  • The Operator answers first messages sooner, including ones started from a suggestion, because it already has your goals, role and teams in hand. Its status line now shows what it is working on, not a lookup that already finished.
  • Goal and project references in comments, check-in notes and the Operator's replies show the goal's own icon (objective, key result or project). Hovering a goal or team reference shows its card, as person references already did.
  • Searching Connectors from the + menu in an Operator chat also finds connectors you have not connected yet, and picking one opens it on the Connectors page, ready to connect.
  • AI assistants connected to Brev can add actions to a meeting, and link an action to a meeting or unlink it.
  • The Activity tab on profiles loads older items as you scroll, with no Load more button to click.
  • The goals toolbar labels every control (Filter, Group, Layout, Save) and no longer squashes them when the filter row is open.
  • Connecting ChatGPT to Brev shows ChatGPT's own logo on the approval screen, and the logo tiles on the connect screens match the rest of the app.
  • More consistent menus, pickers and tabs: every dropdown shares one look and height, and form pickers that hold a value show a chevron. People pickers match email addresses too, tabs move with the arrow keys, and counts show as small badges instead of numbers in brackets.

Fixed

  • Adding a co-owner to a goal could quietly change its primary owner, and with it who can see the goal.
  • Opening a goal with several owners could save it as edited even though nothing changed.
  • The slider on the quick check-in card was invisible in dark mode and faint in light mode.
  • Salesforce and HubSpot connections could stop working when the Brev CLI or API renewed their access.
  • In a narrow browser window, a submenu opened with a mouse or trackpad closed again right away.
