# Sections and columns in artifacts, and an Operator that checks with you first

Released Nov 3, 2026 · v5.18.23 · Shared by Founding Team

Lay out review artifacts the way your meeting runs, and know the Operator asks before it acts on anything written outside your company.

## New

- **The Operator checks with you after reading outside content.** When the Operator has read something written outside your company, such as a web page or an email, it asks for a plain yes before it changes anything in Brev. Text it reads can't approve a change on your behalf.
- **Sections and columns in artifacts.** Group tiles into a section, or drop one beside another to make two columns, so a review artifact reads in the order your meeting runs.
- **Goal lists that open to their child goals.** A goal list in an artifact can show each goal's child goals, and you choose how far it starts open.
- **Connect Hex.** Any workspace on Hex's standard cloud can connect it from the Connectors page, so the Operator can read your Hex projects.

## Improved

- Every workspace can connect Microsoft Teams from Settings, Integrations, with no access request first.
- Hover an image in an artifact to download it, and editors can drag to resize it.
- Picking a person or team in the Share dialog shares with them right away and closes the picker.
- Typing in a busy artifact is faster.
- On Enterprise plans, AI use is measured per member over a five-hour window instead of a shared credit pool, so nobody is paused and admins hear about heavy use.
- Onboarding skips the calendar, AI coworker and Operator steps when your role can't use them.
- AI assistants connected to Brev can change a member's role, with the same rules as the app.
- Notification settings show each reminder's schedule without opening details, and mention and meeting messages in Slack and Teams drop the duplicate links.
- The help page for connecting an AI assistant walks you through each assistant step by step.

## Fixed

- Check-ins could stop syncing in workspaces with a large number of check-ins.
- Changing the owner of several goals at once could also change their scope or teams.
- The daily sync could show a raw activity list for someone who had not confirmed their update.
