# A first session that knows your goals, and notification settings by channel

Released Oct 31, 2026 · v5.18.22 · Shared by Founding Team

People joining a workspace now start from the goals and teams already set up for them, and you can choose how Brev reaches you on each channel in one place.

## New

- **A first session that starts from what is already there.** When you join a workspace someone else set up, Brev already knows your role, your teams and the goals assigned to you, so it skips the setup questions and helps you get your own goals down.

## Improved

- Settings, Notifications shows one row per notification with Email, Slack and Teams choices side by side.
- Peeking at a metric goal shows its current value against the target.
- For your security, you sign in again at least every 14 days.
- Artifacts look tidier: captions, goal rows and focus outlines no longer get cut off, and Download saves an image instead of opening it in a new tab.
- Help articles explain how Auto-track works, with screenshots, and each section heading has a link you can copy.

## Fixed

- A goal's progress bar could cut off the first letter of its status.
- Slack links to a meeting broke when its title contained angle brackets.
- Check-ins from an integration lost the app's name after Auto-track was removed from the goal.
- Scrollbars could spill outside a dialog, and the Reply button could sit in the wrong place.
